Sorry guys, I have a wee problem...the server is going straight to race mode, and even I cannot join my own server even in race mode, where I used to be able to join no what was going on..LOL...Tech Support are on their way.

I know I might have fecked something up, as per usual

This "hosting" lark on AC is a nightmare, so many files to change when you want to make a simple change, unlike LFS, select cars, select track and Go

But thanks to Sam, I have got my head around it now.

What I don't understand is that LFS MP has been out there for so long, its so simple, and IT WORKS!!!! why hasn't anybody else used the same format

Anyway, the answer to your question is....in AC NO!!!! LOL...not yet but will stick with it until I get it right......Hopefully tonight

Hi Gents,

Now everything seems to be working, I would like to post an event for tonight.

UK Civic Challenge, using the Honda Civic and UK Tracks. Below is the server details and Race Info.

Server Name = T7R UK Civic Challenge
Time = 8pm UK Time
Car = Honda Civic (available here and use the tyres.ini as well)
Qualification = 10mins
Laps = 10 laps each Circuit
Circuit Order = Brands Hatch Indy, Donington National, Croft, Brands Hatch GP (available Here)
Slots = 24
PASSWORD=ChallangeUK

PS - Make sure you name the folder Croft ( without the version numbers )

It's telling me I don't have the car. Did you rename it on the server?

I don't have to upload it to the server. the name is, and should be honda_civic as that is what it is named on my PC ?

When you unzip the civic the folder is called honda_civic_gra. That's what it is on every other server using the car, as well.

edit: I also get Server Error Code 0 when trying to connect.

It's all up and running mate, had somebody else join as we had a race...Croft, you need to remove the Version Number, so your folder just says Croft, not Croft_Vxxx

Edit- did a integrity check on Steam and it works now.

Keeping the Server up tonight if anybody fancies some fun racing.
