After many fights today,our on tracks most active moderator returns to podium as a winner - after almost 30 events since last win,M.Kapal takes his 4th one here and is the 8th driver with 4 or more wins,he also scored his 2nd fastest lap of the race and 19th top5 finish today. After leading 16 laps in this race,Ricardo had to settle for runner-up position losing to winner just by 0.52s,which is the closest RTFRi finish ever outside Kyoto oval,it was Ricardo's first finish here,K.Raudsepp finished 3rd,upgrading his result in only previous race by 6 positions. Litro scored his 26th top5 finish by finishing 4th today and Mandula finished 5th for the 3rd time already. But in qualifying Ardee scored his 1st and Finland's 12th pole position,he led 2 laps in race,but retired early.
Slick tyre cars will be used after 2 weeks when the next RTFRi will gather up racers,join us then!

Despite losing his lead in turn one of the race,A.Wiśniewski got it back in lap 2 and never gave up un his way to clean sweep victory in todays event - in qualifying he was the only one to beat 1:14 mark and scored his 2nd pole position,in race he set his first fastest lap and finished as a winner for 2nd time in his 2nd race here and is now the 18th driver with more then 1 win in RTFRi. Ardee was the closest challenger in qualifying and early race,but later he never had the chance to catch leader and barely saved his 2nd place,improving his previous best finishing position by 1 place in his 2nd top5 finish,a driver with tendency to change his name very often finished 3rd for 2nd time in RTFRi,which are his only top5 finishes. Rest of the top5 was taken by Savages - K.Raudsepp finished 4th (2nd top5 for him) and T.Gedminas was 5th,improving his previous best position by 3 places.
Something with less grip will be used in next race in 2 weeks,feel free to join and try it out!

After todays race Litro becomes the 5th driver to win 5 or more races here - after race leader admitted that his engine is damaged,Litro catched up and made the pass for his 5th victory later in race,it was also his 27th top5 finish. Ardee still proved that he is the fastest today in terms of one lap pace - in qualifying he took his 2nd pole position and in race - his 1st fastest lap,by finishing 2nd for 2nd time in row,he had his 3rd top5 finish,while T.Gedminas had quite lonely race and took the last step on podium,improving his previous best finish by 2 positions in his 2nd top5 finish. With a late pass in fight for 4th position,Mandula beat his previous best finish,4th top5 for him,Michel had to concede in this fight,but also had his best ever finish here - 5th.
In 2 weeks we gather up for the penultimate RTFRi event of this year,slick tyres will be on the menu then!

Yeah that was great fun. Looking back I think I was watching my tyres a bit too much and I could've driven a tad faster but I was afraid of melting them. When we finished the fronts were 70/72 so there was some room..grmbl..

Today RTFRi winners club is joined by a new member - the finnish driver Botsi dealt with todays tricky combo better then everyone else and celebrated his first victory here,in final lap he tied Ardee's fastest lap of the race to put also this achievement in his account - it was the 3rd time in RTFRi history,when the fastest lap has beed tied. Botsi finished in top5 for the 3rd time,but in qualifying he upgraded his previous best position from 5th to 2nd. Falcon finished in top5 for the 20th time with todays runner up position being the only not lapped driver,but first time participant Tisu from Austria took the last step on podium. T.Gedminas finished 4th (3rd top5 finish) and newest organizing team's member Mandula improved his best qualifying performance to 5th place and also finished the race in same position making a total of 5 top5 finishes in his stats.
Just one race left in this year,as we're going into christmas holidays after that - if it will be slick or road tyre race,to be decided,join us to see!

For the 2nd race in row we have a new winner - this time it's David K. from Czech Republic,who started in RTFRi for the first time - he took over lead after previous leader just quit the race and kept it for remaining 20 laps on the way to 5th win for Czech Republic. David K. is the 40th driver,who has won at least one race here. Falcon finished 2nd,which is his 21st top5 finish already (4th in most top5 finishes chart),but german first time participant Xnyle took the remaining step on podium. Another german driver Oliver finished 4th,it's his 3rd top5 finish,N.Vārna closed up top5 with his 8th top5 finish. But before quitting the race,which he started from his 4th pole position,Ardee set his 3rd fastest lap - he is by mile the most sucessful winless driver in our success rating.
That's it for the year 2014 with RTFRi,we're going to holidays until 1st tuesday of the next year,but Race Green Events presents another 2 events in this year - the 4th annual X-mas derby event This is Crashmaaas !!! in december 26th,but 2 days later we will give the green signal for the first round of our AWD car winter league AWS 2015.
