hi, since my pc is broke, and i have to use the server with a crappy graphics card tthat cant play lfs, i decided to play with remote controlled cars.i'm even thinking of making the bl-track with shoes .
its getting kinda boring now, driving without anything special.
i would like to mod the "case".the car, the plastic... u kno?
right now the car is a r/c car with battery, case: ferarri enzo, painted it black,
but dunno what to do next...
is there a way to mod it even more?any1 who has "modded" 1 before?
i was thinking of neons with leds, but my style would damage em...unless there is a solution?
any info, comment or pics would be great!

well it depends on if its like a tamiya or whatever, if its one you picked up at target (... doubt they have one in belgium lol) a cheap store, then no you cant really mod them

you can deffinetly mod tamiyas and others though, but you'd have to check up on shells (car body) because you have to make sure the pins fit the slots and it fits in the chassis etc.

as for LED lights, thats simple, just have to get some wire, a battery, and attach LED's where you want, and connect it into a continous circuit and then to turn them on just tape on the end wire.. obviously its not the best, but it works and can be done real fast.. but there are much better looking ways of doing it obviously

i once had a tamiya grasshopper, except my dad melted the shell with paintstripper, so i replaced it with a vw beetle shell it was nice. metalic green. ahh. what scale is your car btw?

my car is 1 from nikko.its scale is 1/10
ill try again for the leds if i find the yellow 1 to make them look like front and rear lights
and for car cases, do they cost much?
i want like a mitsubitshi lancer evo 6 tuned or so, and then chrome rims...

nikko RC cars are just ready to go off the shelf cheap RC cars, you cant get any body's or really anything for them, if you want a real RC car then .. find a local hobby store and i can assure you that you'll find what your looking for

if you want a big brand name RC car then i suggest tamiya (and really thats hte only company i know) and they are fairly cheap

1/10th offroad, Team Losi XXX-CR 2wd, and XFactory X-5.

i race them most weeks.. but it does get expensive, tyres, motors cells etc it all adds up.

i wouldnt say a helicopter upside down is exactly amizing tbh. an inverted autorotation is fairly impressive though.

My older brother had a grasshopper but he crashed it.

inverted autorotation.. i wanna see that lol

that is not as impressive as vertically hovering an RC plane though, thats way harder (unless... its made for doing that, then the hard part is keeping it vertical)

you should go to the club my dads in. its nothing for planes to be hovering. or for people to do crazy stuff with helis.
