I race for a team called Ready4Racing or R4R. See http://www.r4r.org.uk/news.php

We have a limited number of quality team members and are hoping to find a new member for our team. The successful applicant will be able to lap within 2.5 seconds of most world records. Good experience of the XFR is a plus and the ability to be able to drive long stints without mistakes is a must. You will also need to be patient in one-on-one race situations and have the reputation of a clean racer.

So in summary, you do not have to be super fast as long as you are capable of driving consistantly without ruining other peoples races. We are currently focused on the ATC 60 GP and LX Cup events which are fantastic meets. These events test your ability to concentrate and drive safely, yet fast.

If you feel you have these qualities then please PM me and we can meet up and do some racing together.

I can't drive long stints without messing up big time. I can't drive within 2.5 seconds of the WR, I can't control the LX's, I'm not even so good at the XFR, i'm already in a team and, by the looks, i'm not gonna be able to join.

I do!... almost . I am just getting to that stage where I drive cool, calm & collected even when leading. I am in my 2nd season of OLFSL (pos 21) & have experience of 45min - 1 hour races. any longer & I get bored & crash

the other day I was racing the FXO at Kyoto Nat & beat the driving god they call Worm :eclipsee_ (& 16 others) so that makes me a driving god too yay!

R4R are still looking for new team members. A new season is about to start in the OWRL and a couple of teammates in the races with me would be fantastic. Please feel free to contact me if interested.

Sure, well we are still a small team so resource is somewhat limited in terms of creating skins, movies etc. However, we do have team skins for the XFR which are personalised for each racer. One could be created for you in no time at all. We have a fully functioning website as you may have seen that includes a forum etc. Other than that, all we can offer is team spirit, setup advice and sharing etc.

At the moment there are only 4 of us in the team but as the team grows I would be willing to a) create R4R skins for other cars b) create a database of team setups for a variety of combos, c) create R4R promotional videos and d) any thing else that is suggested that adds value to the team

It would be cool to have circuit diagrams and guides, setup guides for specific cars. We could run training sessions or whatever our members require. I would enjoy creating some of this stuff but at the moment the team is too small to justify the effort.
