This hothatch is equipped with the same, 2.0 litre 16 valve engine, that the XF GTS had, the only difference being the turbo charger. With only 0.6 Bar it produces a peak torque of 333 Nm at 3750rpm. The maximal power (250hp) comes at 6503rpm.

The GTiR version of the XF came with even wider bumpers, and no spoiler. It got sporty, red details in the interior, facelifted headlights and a different speedometer.

The GTiR has a more stiff suspension, and it loves to turn. It's equipped with ABS, and a 6 gear transmission that has a sporty gear ratio.

The lightweight GTS has no chance on the autobahn but it's a beast on the slalom track.

Engine mounted transverse to copy the folkrace trick of putting a "Volvo b23" engine in a smaller car. Linear rear axle, good away from the starting line, and a bit more sideways then the XRG. Engine is a bit further back then original, fuel tank moved a bit more forward aswell.
