I started development on a custom build RX inspired by IRL RX cars, namely Escort F1RX and Xsara T16 4x4.

Made some rough blueprint and now trying to create it into a working, detailed 3D model

smoll update, sides are almost finished, need to complete bumpers and door, then it's on to the front/top/rear and inside, hope to get it done by december, have a great weak all.

LFS Editor, when it’s completed it will get finetuned in proper 3d design program and then reimported into LFS

small update, working at finishing the bumpers and roof pillars, hoping to start grouping during the weekend and make it feel more like a real car. until the next update WIP #T16RX

Are you building this solely in the LFS Editor?

As those dark streaks on the corners mean the Normal orientation (the vector that decides how a triangle receives and uses light) is twisted

Purely build in editor, streaks will be gone after setting layer groupings

Test fitting chassis and started on the front, work goes slowly but surely in the right direction, glad how it's coming together, stay tuned for more

Final stop for today, Front and hood are finished, now let's get started onto the roof and read 😄 #T16 RX

for RX version headlights and taillights will be skinnable.

roof is finished, some textures are added, slowly starting to get more and more completed

I love the concept, but the quality of the mesh is worrying me. It's not very smooth.

Final post for today, cleaned up points usage, now onto continuing where this save stopped, hope it goes better/faster with the rest of the build this time

windows are in, now need to finish up interior/roof/rear and the model itself should be completed 🤣 #T16 RX

Love watching to progress on this. Original car design and built from the group up. Looks extremely promising cant wait to drive it onces all the tunings been done.

FIA spec roll cage has been installed, we're inching closer every day 😄 #T16

time for another small update, hood has been closed up, rear is starting to take form, another day or 2 and it should be ready for testing, engine under constuction by Martin, and a little suprise is getting developed for the rear, stay tuned #T16 RX
