600 horsepower single seater in relativelly narrow track alone is a difficult task, but if the narrow track features tight turns, that will challenge the racers to their limits - controlling the power on slow turns, having the car fast on the 2 straights, each one kilometer long, will be the key to high positions this sunday. The track is brand new and created just before the season,so everyone will have same point to start from in terms of track experience - who will be able to adapt quicker?
After 1st round the standings leader is the winner of the 1st race, but with 4 rounds still to come,we have nothing but some potential trends of the season, however everyone is still eligible for the glory - even racers joining the season just now as the disadvantage of not having any points yet is very possible to overcome. Will any of the previous champions and other skilled drivers take the challenge and join series?
SGマ MadJester - receives 10 seconds penalty added to his finish time for pit exit line violation.

The brand new VERL round FoRGE 200 did not gather up a lot of drivers, but still enough to not get the race shortened due low attendance - 9 drivers is the minimum for full 200 kilometers race per rules. Of course the tricky and tight track coupled with powerful single seater had it's toll on the drivers - one third of them retired before completing points scoring distance.
2 out of 2 - so far a perfect season for the new recruit of the series organizing team. Just like 2 weeks ago as a privateer,RD2 crossed the finish line first, but this time he led less than a half of the race - starting from row 2 the bulgarian advanced through field by simply passing the rivals while they were in pitlane and beat them with much shorter pitstop. Thehemuli seemed to be the faster one in this race, but spent over 20 seconds in pitstop, losing lead and grip on potential race win, however he set the fastest lap of the race to score at least an additional point. Rony made 2 RGA members on the podium by finishing 3rd and last on lead lap. Just like in 1st round the pole position honors did not bring good results - Texas made his 1st appearance this season by being fastest in qualifying, scoring his 1st VERL pole position, but few contacts here and there forced him to early pitstop, which dropped him down the order until he retired.
Two times 20 points plus the 2 attendance bonus points equals in 8 points lead in standings after 2 rounds for RD2 - the rookie has now extended his lead. His closest rival is now Thehemuli, who's 2nd with a 10 points gap over 3rd place - Rony. RD2's lead in rookie of the year standings is even bigger - his closest rival from round 1 retired early and did not score a single point, growing the gap to 22 points,Madjester is 3rd with same points count, losing on tiebreaker.
Leaders from round 1 Zafiralis had a better round this time by scoring 6 points more, but their lead has been cut to 2 points as defending champions RGA scored even more thanks to their new recruit. MRc is now 3rd with a 27 points deficite to top of the table. In nations standings things returned to old order - defending champions Finland jumped in the lead and is now 9 points ahead of single driver nation Bulgaria. The surprise leaders after round 1 Brazil have dropped down to 3rd position without scoring a single point in round 2.
Round 3 will bring another new configuration to VERL - even if the South City's Chicane Route has been used already 3 times in the league, all were in reversed direction. Now in the 2nd season of the turbo era the 2.9 kilometers configuration will be run in the original direction to offer racers a fast paced race in an urban environment - with 3 weeks gap from previous round the South City 200 will be a battle of nerves!
