Maybe you should keep your LFS license incase you want it back later? Trading LFS for rFactor is probably going to work, but the other way round will be hard.

Just buy it then. Then you own both, and then when you come back to LFS (either when there is a new patch, or when you realise that rFactor is only 2% realistic, and contains some of the worst mods known to humankind) you can just load, unlock and drive.

If you swap it I'd wager over £300* you'd regret it.

Well, maybe tristan will give you his rF license. But then again, what would he be doing with two LFS licenses. Your best bet is probably going on demo servers and asking around there, because hardly anyone who already has S2 will pay you for rFactor so they have a second S2 license which wouldn't be of any use for them.

Just download the newest rFactor demo. They actually bothered to release one, so you have newer material than the even-more-crappy multiplayer test demo.

When reading the thread title, I thought there was a LFS mod for rFactor... but this is even worse now

lol, no wait ill explain bigger: yesterday i was at Circuit Zolder for what they call VDAB Happening: u can drive with fast cars, go-carts for children, drive buggie's etc.. So i was walking around wih my parents and i saw a simulator where they played the VW FunCup with Rfactor and when u had the best time (and 2 others) u had to fill in a paper were u had to put on ur information: so i had driven best time once and second time and had another pb(better ) so now those people of the VW FunCup are going to invite me and other people to to a race with Karts (i have 9 years experiance) and who wins the kartrace: will have the opportunity to drive one race with the VW FunCup so maybe i'll dive one race @ Spa-Francorschamps with the VW FunCup and when i was driving Rfactor it was pretty cool, and to be honest it was bit more fun then LFS, so no u know my reason

No, they invited you to a race with karts. To me that means you don't have to pay for the karting event. Not having to pay = saved money. Saved money = more money to spend elsewhere. More money to spend elsewhere = buy rFactor yourself.

Also, keep in mind, if you haven't received any offers yet, you probably won't receive any in the future either.

I would actually think that people here would like it if he was offered an exchange in the first few minutes of his post. It would sort of prove the point that people ditch rFactor for LFS, yadda, yadda...

However, to help you out Scrabby (and who'd want to buy a license as "Scrabby" is another point of interest) perhaps you should change the title of your thread to "Trading my LFS license for an rFactor unlock"?

"LFS for rFactor" made me think of that autocross track someone made for rFactor based on the Blackwood autocross layout.
