A mic is not necessary (but suggested). As long as you can hear us, it is great. However to be a marshall/pace car, you must have a microphone in order to be able to direct the race.


(There are cheap mics now at any electronic (and non-electronic) stores. And its always fun to have.)

We are still debating on which to use. It most probably be Ventrilo, or maybe Teamspeak.

Secondly, the LFS Indy Racing League Server is online 24/7 and is ready for practice at any time of the day. Enjoy having time there!

Just tried the server and everything seems good to go. I have a mic and will be able to join in.

Might i add, this is an interesting course to start.

LFS Indy League - Preseason.

It currently runs the FXO and FOX on the KY Oval. A way to find it if it is not in the list is to type it in, or use LFSW. But it should be there.

Heh alright well... we may have had a bit of a misunderstanding. The LFS Indy League is as close of a replica of the IRL as lfs would let us. In the season we will be racing 11 races on the ky oval and 3 road tracks. And also for the invitational and every LIL race following this is not nascar, you cant block you must hold your line and leave room for other drivers. There will be a full posting of the rules on the site soon enough. But I hope you get the jist of it

Concerning the race itself, please do not forget that the race itself will start at 10:00am EDT (14:00 UTC). You must report on the TeamSpeak server created for this event 20 minutes beforehand (,thus 13:40 UTC). All drivers must be on TeamSpeak before the race as the necessary guidelines concerning the race will be given through TS. The game server password will also be given out to he drivers during the TS session. (no mic necessary, as long as you can hear).
