is there a way to alter the saturation in the game?

i have tried altering it in windows to take effect in the game but it doesnt work..

here is why i want to do it.

desktop9.jpg is an original.
desktop9s.jpg is the modified one only by changing the saturation of the picture, as you can see it look much more real than that of the first.

saturation? u mean gamma?

Do you mean by makeing the picture looking shiney/bighter then it allready is if so i have not got a clue

no i mean saturation.

saturation turn things from colour to black and white.

no by making the colours look duller and have less colour..

green is not really the best colour to use but its the only pic i had of quality.

I have had a go by doing this ( beware the picture are abit bigger then i thought)

Here you go mate. Is it possible to have the pic of the helmet on the BF1 and off to see which is better? Hope that isn't too much of a burden.

if you have an nvidia card you can lower hte saturation level; but.. from your screenshots, neither look that realistic, the untouched one has slightly a little to much color, and the one you edited has waaaaay to less color

Just right click on your desktop, properties, settings, advanced. There you should find settings to change saturation for 3D colour settings.

if the world looks that colourless to you you might want to talk to a psychologist about it

seriously though i think the saturation in lfs is just fine ... take a look at rfactor ... thats what i call oversaturated

Yeah, people always say LFS lacks graphical beauty.

Detail maybe, but the colours and textures in LFS are some of the most natural and realistic ive seen.

Exactly my thoughts...

Perhaps he has some incredibly high color settings on his monitor. His saturated picture is very dull indeed, and colors are supposed to be pretty vibrant in the real world obviously.... but the real saturation comes from haze and bright sun or cloud cover. The colors don't exactly become dull and dry... I honeslty think LFS's problem is just lighting, and that is of course the limitations of DX8. But LFS still looks damn good, and I never felt I needed to change the saturation to be honest.

You should try and edit the contrast and gamma methinks.

My best friend, Zyber (ZyberWaX), rides a yellow ITEK skin...
