Right, this item will shortly be going on eBay, and you can bid on it there, although to fund my 7950GT i really need all the cash i can get, so im posting it here, here is what the listing (will) say:
Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel & Pedals (Gameport version) – Also known as “Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Racing Wheel”
Excellent condition on both the wheel and pedals (Brake pedal exhibits slight squeal – open it up and oil it and it would fix it, but they’ve never been opened before, so I haven’t in case i still have some kind of warranty)
100% Original parts, including the original Microsoft power supply, so could be used for spare parts if you want.
Works fine under XP – No drivers needed, works on 2000, drivers required for Windows 95/98/Me, but these can be easily obtained from Microsoft’s website
Force Feedback – I cannot BEGIN to describe how much better games feel with this, you can FEEL the car shifting, the tyres losing grip, feel the force as you hit something, the tyres squirming, and it really DOES make you faster – there is no comparison to “rumble” technology, it is something you just HAVE to try!
Easily locks onto a desk, and stays there no matter what you do, but thanks to the handle on the clamp you just pull it and it releases from the desk
The actual wheel hasn’t been used much (rubber ring on wheel feels perfect – sometimes with too much use it can go “sticky” – but on mine it’s still perfect as if it were new), although the wheel rim (and the housing) have a few small scratches on, but everything works fine.
I no longer have the original Driver disc or Monster Truck Madness game (although it doesn’t work on newer computers anyway) or box
Selling due to buying new pedals, which was all I was using this wheel for
