Quote from CSU1 :The X class was a World War II midget submarine class built for the Royal Navy during 1943–44. The craft were about 51 feet (15.5 m) long, 5.5 feet (1.68 m) in maximum diameter and displaced 27 tons surfaced and 30 tons submerged. Propulsion was by a 4-cylinder Gardner 42 hp diesel engineillepall

Captain Slow: Do you really want to make it an international poll? Outside of the british isle these terms are absolutely uncommon. I only know them from english class I had in school years ago.

That contradicts, too.

The first quote sounds like you do want people, who dont know the definitions of the classes, to vote.

i mean, if you dont have a clue what im going on about at all. stay away, but some people might want a fine definition, BUT, as im trying to find out what people THINK they are, telling them WHAT they are would be a waste of time wouldnt it. i think. im confusing myself now lol

EDIT: shit i double posted.
^^ Spam (above that post) (I was too late with posting :-/).

Good for the sadness ratings though...

but still you're right.
Heh, classful addressing is the only classes I can think of. Socially classes died like 50+ years ago.

not spam, he is trying to find out where people place themselves, irrespective of where they are, it's for his School Work, he wants people to vote, but by telling people what class they are it taints it, thus if you don't know (like me!), or dont understand the terminology, dont vote
Quote from riffey4 :Start by giving me the definitions of each class...

lower class: Demo racer
middle class (lower): S1 Licensed
middle class (upper): S2 Licensed
upper class: Developer
Out of curiosity: I guess you want to compare the result with statistics you already have. If so, they're probably about a very different group of people (as you don't know anything about the users here), like whole GB and the forum users are not really representative for them?
It wouldn't really make sense then, so.. what's your plan?
