Does the 'GT' mean it can't go off-road?
Is their definition of 'Rally' different?

Looks like a really good potential Group N customer rally car. This is what (even if only tarmac) rallying should be about exciting RWD sportscars near enough to genuine production models to keep costs down and speeds realitively safe compared to stupidly fast active everything WRC cars and looks gorgeous

Well, maybe it is intended as a Targa type rally car? I wouldn't mind seeing one of these beauties at the Targa Newfoundland. Hell, I wouldn't mind going to the Targe Newfoundland!

its only doing the tarmac events iirc, and theres been an Aston V8 Vantage in the rally of France, at least one video of it on YouTube

Well, even Ferrari participated few rallies (though back in the 80's Group B) so why not Aston Martini too.

I read this on WRC yesterday and couldn't really believe it. But I only see it on tarmac rallies. Offroad? No way!

I still dunno if a auston martin on rally is really going to work, i mean that car is long, and heavy! Yea i can try though but gotta do some homework from school first now , maybe tomorro or later

The main idea is to allow to come back the GT cars' class in rally. I'm sure that can be a great idea, but those cars will remain too expensive for the big majority of drivers...crap...
And BTW, RWD cars would be much more attractive for the spectators than all those AWD with their over-expensive (devellopement) 2L turbo...

Erm...just imagine this car doing a 50m jump in the Rally of 1000 lakes in Finnland...This thing is so heavy that it flats out every hill and jump on his way

I remember that in one of my car-cardgames there was a Rolls Royce rally car.
