The LFS Demo League is coming back for a second season and we're hoping for it to even better than last year!

We are inviting all the demo racers on this forum to come and join in this special pre-season race. All the drivers who attend this race automatically get a place in the second season of the LFS Demo League, if they want it.

Format
3 Heats - 5 laps each, random grid positions
1 Final - 15 laps, heats determine final grid positions

At the end of each heat you will score points depending on where you finish, these determine your grid positions for the final. The points are shared out as:

1st - 11 points
2nd - 10 points
3rd - 9 points
4th - 8 points
5th - 7 points
6th - 6 points
7th - 5 points
8th - 4 points
9th - 3 points
10th - 2 points

I'm going to start PMing leaders of demo teams informing them about this so i'm hoping to get both servers full.

It would be nice if we could have a league website up and running like the last time( a webpage should be good I guess ).

Besides, if someone is really good at video editing et al, we could have a nice video done for the opening race.(I too can do it...but I am not good at it)

I think a promotional video with the previous leagues races should be good for starters. Forgive me if all this sounds dumb but I think doing this will create a sense of activity : more publicity = more racers.

A league website is being made at the moment but I haven't had time to much on it in the past month or so.

A video would be good but I am absolutely rubbish at video editting so I think its best if someone else does it.

If we only get one or two drivers on server 2 then I will allow S2 racers to fill up the spaces. I'll PM you if that's the case

darn and i was hoping to get a spot in Server 1, LKS and I are good buddies, and were participating in this event, to compete against each other, and other drivers. But anyway... its good enough

maybe server 1 won`t fill up ...so u`ll have a chance

If there is a space left in server 1 then you can take it but if a demo racer wants to take that spot then they can. Priority comes to the demo racers

Well...since me and my family just decides sometime to up and go...Im not sure if i can make it...but as of now im in.

You are a fast guy. If I remeber correctly, you were doing arnd 1:33:6x / BL GP forward. I am an avg. guy I was doing 1:34:5x. Nothing mentionable....sooo its very obvious you don't remember.
