Anyone have a Paid Fileplanet Account???
If you do could you do me a BIG favour!? ...You may know that Test Drive Unlimited Beta is out, but you have to be a Pay User to get a Key. If there is someone out there that might be able to get me that key, I would love you Forever!
:lovies:
PM me please!

I feel ya pain bro. It's a huge loss to lose such famous and professional sim-overlords. I mean, duuuuwd... at least two people knew they even existed and maybe zero cared when they came trolling.
who?

Quote from thisnameistaken :Hey, they're Hell Knights man, show a little respect. That makes them, like, fifth in charge in Hell or something. When the devil, Pol Pot, Jamie Oliver and Elton John are all out of the office, who do you think mans the phones? Damn straight.

I think John Howard did work experience there for a while.

Fileplanet? I'd rather stick my face in a plate of live scorpions. Do people seriously sign up for that stuff?

From a thread discussing the beta on an other forum, apparently there's a public demo due out in January, so not much longer to wait if you want to try it out.
I won't be able to run the damn thing at all anyway, so I won't be bothering with the demo.

It looks fantastic, but from the videos on the website, the cars look like they're pretty much superglued to the road. I saw the XJ220 hit an oncoming vehicle at well over 100mph and the other car was just thrown out of the way, while the XJ220 got thumped and kept on driving - not even any damage to what was visible of the hood.
Also, the cockpit and chase views looked fine, but when it panned round, the side view looked strangely super-imposed. Could've just been down to quality loss in the video though.

So I'm guessing maybe more like un-riced NFS:U with daylight.
I seem to remember one of the download sites looking very tempting to sign up at, Fileshack? (but never did)
What is the min specs for PC?
I wouldn't mind trying it out just to enjoy driving around Hawaii or wherever the game is located.

heh, however it is, i guess if u can run BF2142 and NFS carbon pretty much on the max settings u shouldnt get any problems.
is this just the pc (beta) release of the 360 game?

if it is, the motorcycles are rather fun to drive. but over all, all the cars handle like 5000lb lead sleds with soft suspensions.
Yes its the PC release of the 360 game in beta testing.

The min requirements are rather steep at the min, my A64 3400/7600GT/1GB struggles at times, but its expected for a work in progress.

The cars react fairly realistic in the game, not to LFS level but quite a few notches above NFS. Has better support for the G25 than LFS
Yes its a great looking game. but cant anyone get me a Key? Pwease!!
Anyone that gave you a key would potentially open their paid for account up to abuse, and I'm sure it violates the NDA in some way. To make full use of the game you have to give it your Gamespy/Fileplanet account details anyway not just the key.
