LFS is not running now, it still says I'm online? do you know how i can cure this?

thanks

Simon
what happened: Likely you timed out from a certail server but it sometimes takes a few minutes for LFS World to realise it. Normally it will be fine simply by restarting LFS.
I just looked in the server and there is somebody there with your username who is responding, it is one of my servers so i can help you out here. I can kick him for you so you can go online, i suggest you go to the LFS Website NOW and change your passwords.

EDIT: person has left now. display name was hans something.
or waiting a min or 2

ok thanks, so has this "Hans" person got my login details then? if so how do I change them? thanks

Simon

**EDIT**. I have changed my GAMEpassword, will this stop the problem? how did he get my password in the first place, as I thought all users nam1nes where individual?
Don't know, but I'd change your WEBpassword also, and make sure it's different to your GAMEpassword.
also change your email, if he has access to that, when you change your passwords he will see email notification thats sent out....

All kinds of ways it could of happened most likely is you left your e-mails open on a computer which someone else had access to and they read an e-mail containing your password.
lol, it's not a big chance to get a account by just guessing the password and stuff. like.. 1 to a 1000000? or even more!

That figure can be drastically reduced with some basic psychological knowledge, or even "knowing" the person.

However, a more interesting question is why on earth was a thread from nearly week ago bumped?
