Texturepack4

IRL adboards mostly inspired by DTM/BTCC/WTCC etc.
- Kyoto and Fern Bay have also "local" advertising.
- some LFS and LFS related ads.

Major changes in South City - new buildings and shopfronts textures.
- buildings window reflections.
- IRL shop signs in High Street.

More "racey" interiors for standard/GTR cars.
- new interior in LX, XR and FX. - and higher res.
- new UF grill.

New Seats for standard, GTR and RA.
- removed backseats in all standard/GTR cars.

New suits.
- tyre logos on the suits matches the tyrewalls.
- new marshall suit and helmet with LFS logos.

New ambulance, trucks and caravan.


Not made by me:
• South City - High Street IRL shop signs made by sharkboots
• South City - Electrik Kar allowed me to use and edit his buildings textures thx
• Brembo brake calipers made by Zed28
• Brakedisc made by glyphon
• Slick tyre pattern made by Kegetys
• Normal and super road tyre patterns made by _ALUCARD_
• Tyrewalls - edit of al heeley's Dunlop/Bridgestone/Michelin/Advan tyrewalls textures
• Dunlop bridge - unknown origin
• Puma shoes by tonix -edited
• Alpinestars shoes by Marty -edited


Copy the dds files into your LFS dds folder
and copy the pic files into your LFS pic folder.
- and remember to backup your original files.

The Texturepack4 link doesnt work anymore, and it really doesnt
matter anyway, because...

Since patchY, whole South City have been rebuild - so my SO textures are no go anymore.
Same goes for the tyrewalls textures.
Furthermore - after patchY, adverts are in JPG format, so billboard
textures in SO, BL and FE dont work anymore, etc.. etc...

BUT... the suits, interiors, pittrucks n' stuff still works, so I have
made this "Texturepack4 light edition" pack.

im not a fan of all those different ads, but im deffinetly going to install the new city textures, good job!

looks great so far, I'll partially use it (not be cause some thing are too bad in quality, but the don't really suit my taste, e.g. I'll prefer to drive on Evostar-tyres )

I agree with nuse on this one, im gonna only install the south city textures. I just prefer the original LFS ads.

Bo, if you wanna make better looking RA seat this photo could be useful.

ei bo-kristiansen can you make a high-res texture for normal seats? (Seat1.dds).

Thx for the pic - I made this. - its not that good but here it is.

reg. the seat1 - I know my edit is not teh bestest in the world,
but the mapping is different in UF, GTI and FXO/XR, so its very
limited what you can do with the texturing. I think my seat is fairly okay,
and Ill leave it like that. - this texturepack took me a
month or so to make, so I've had it with editing for the next ½ year.



-EDIT- I made the RA seat less colorfull and a bit darker.
...also I discovered that the GTI doorpanels for some reason was grayscaled,
so I have replaced it with a previous version. - both files are in this rar.

Nice work. I tried doing it a long time ago but didn't have enough patience. Reason you didn't have that photo is that it was only available on my HD.

edit: Tested it ingame. It's bit too orange and bright.

Bo- lookin' real good. Wish I could test your textures out, alas that won't be for another month or so, so i'll just say... good work!

I had this for a few days and its awsome I always uninstal textures after a day or 2 (after i get bored with them) but I think this sets in there for good.. .lol
