Not bad for some early attempts, can only get better. Try to use the tranform tool to make things fit better. Select the layer and its CTRL+T then you can warp, distort etc to make it look and sit more natural.

i did virtual tuning few years ago. the thing ill say to ur pics is, 1. try getting better image quality on ur copyed parts. 2. perspective them better 3. dont use easy blurring tool to link the parts. use brush tools and then smudge tool. 4. always think as the car is real. would it rly be like that etc...

I don't really do this hobby anymore but here are some old ones of mine, that being said I'm just sharing to add to the thread....I don't need C&C on any of these. They are all very old and I could probably find a 1000+ things wrong with each of them...lol

falcon you need to spend more time, i've helped this guy by the name KIRO in the 3d modeling world by giving him one pointer: quality is far better than quantity, and over time, quality will achieve much more respect and value than quantity

also over time you'll come to notice that in the digimod world (what you're trying to do) is often seen as this: copying and pasting from other pictures is a big nono, and a sign of unprofessional (and i guess i could say illegal work); doing what d6nn however is the right way, you'll come to find out once you discover what your program can do, "painting" is far better and more realistic then copying and pasting

Quote from Falcon140 :looks very fake

like a drawing

coz it is a drawing. everything i do i try to draw it myself. and it is still an wip
imo a good brush looks a thousand times better than some (non-well-used) copy-paste stuff.
Here's something i made about 2 years ago . Everything except rear wing is brushed.

well that defeats the purpose
tell u wat

i quit

no more posting here from me, ill post my COPY AND PASTED images on my forum and my friends forum.

ill leave you "profesionals" to your drawings and painting.
Quote from Falcon140 :well that defeats the purpose

defeats the purpose?! thats the WHOLE purpose of digimodding, copying and pasting is... ok look at it this way, (i hope no one takes this the wrong way, but i know many if not all of us were the same) when we first started making skins for LFS, we took a plain skin, maybe gave some color, and just copied and pasted some decals.. how'd it look? utter crap, over time we discovered that you can't compare copying and pasting to handdrawn objects, quality is completely different, one looks bad, and one looks like it should, all done by hand (which.. thats how paintjobs are done anyway)

see your missing the point and giving up at an early stage which wont get you anywhere.. owell if your quitting i guess there is no purpose for anyone to help anymore
