i had better result to london server than the polish one.

edit: i realized swedens have the fastest connections(like it's gonna change the result :P..right) so i tried malmo and almost hit max of my connection..u try figure out what i have:

Well u almost beat me with both..ping is not that important in this test..my ping is not so good too but i have much better ones on uk lfs servers. ... i wish i had better up but that's max my isp offers.

Mine's about 1.6-1.8 download when it's supposed 8mb, the reason being that there is a fault in the wiring. When I plug the router in the BT testing socket (which is inconveniently next to the front door) I get about 7.5.

I was expecting a lot worse, as I'm going through two wireless connections bridged together, with the source being in my sisters flat down the other end of the building.

I get the same pathetic download speed from London as I do from Australia!
Does anyone know of other types of broadband I can get? (not cable or phone line)

& I thought mine was crap . ( i am also in the country) how far are you from your nearest exchange?

Ahh, err, I guess it's probably in the region of about 6 or 7 miles, as the crow flies. I really do live out in the sticks, hehe.
