I drive FZ50 these days, because of our upcoming race of the OPS championship, so i couldn't stand to look at that ceramic looking dashboard, so i made this as a temporary solution, and thought i'd share it here.
It's nothing really, took me about 20 minutes, but it's better than the default for me.
And it is the back side of the leather, i don't know the english word for that, i call that material flipped leather..

There are two versions, darker and brighter.

Too dark now cant see the texture.

Generally you dont want to have completely black colors in games. It screws up the lighting.

I see it ok here on my LCD, although, when i am at work, things really do look dark there, so maybe that's the case with you. Try increasing the brigthness in your drivers..

Ok, i added the brighter version also, and changed the preview picture.
I personally use the Darker version, it's all about your monitor and brightness settings.

Dunno, looks more like velvet than leather to me...

Yep, i already said, it's not the leather, but the back of the leather, i don't know the word for it, it's that material like on the Porsche GT3 RS wheel, so if velvet is the right word, than velvet it is

i believe it's called "suede" (pronounced "swayd"

I think you are right, now that you said it, i remember my friend telling me about that material, when we watched some GT3 RS clip, and he said that the steering wheel is covered with alcantra.. but i forgot that, and just called this leather, so if any of moderators could change the thread name to "FZ Black Alcantra dashboard" it would be nice .

As some of you who edit LFS, probably know, this FZ dash is one small file, which is then multiplied on the dash, so there is no chance to do some more detailed stuff on it, like for example on the XF dash, so i could only edit the material in the Alcantara.
