The online racing simulator
Quote from joen :Why wait for S3 if you can enjoy S2 now? It won't save you any money waiting for S3 as you will pay for the S2 part as well when you buy S3. So why not enjoy what you can have right now instead of waiting? I see this argument often but it really doesn't make any sense. We're far from S3 anyway, we're talking years away here.

And I'm not bashing people for being demo racers. I just get annoyed with people asking for more content while they haven't even experienced the content that's available right now.

Because I'm sure there aren't freeloading crackers around here.. :bananadea
I would love to see, An old r30 skyline.
Some Classic Racing cars from japan would be nice.
Something like the ER34 Skyline. 4 Door saloon car, rear wheel drive. Also, more dedicated Off Road cars. The rallycross isn't used that much IMO, and if rally spec cars were to be introduced I think they would be alot more popular. Even something like a tuned version of the RB4, that would do for me.
So what you guys think about le mans cars? Something like Audi R10....

tell me what you think!
Definately.

And the Bentley Speed 8
I'd like to see a car such as this one: track car, no downforce, AWD. V8 (twin Hayabusa) engine, giving a better power/weight ratio than the FO8. something like an MRT on steroids.

The car has been designed and built by one man. Check out his design & build log, it's a great read if you're interested in race car technology.
It indeed looks very sexy and fun to drive, although it must be twitchy as hell!
Quote from joen :So you want a program to create new cars but you didn't even drive all the cars LFS has right now?

Yeah LFS is so hard to find on emule.
You can't play online but i'm sure that's not such a big deal for a lot of people.
I began like this! Then I bought a license....
Quote from Stew2000 :Definately.

And the Bentley Speed 8

You realise they are basically the same car, just one with an open body and one with a closed body (and the aerodynamic and weight swings-and-roundabouts differences)

That would rule. It looks like a prototype's drugged up little brother.

If was designed and built by one man, someone should try and get in touch with him, and see if he would like it in a racing sim.
Fiat 126
Can someone post a pic of that RB4 GTR again? Please...

I would like to see a couple more classes in LFS.
Like the true GTR cars with 600-700BHP (Aston Martin DBR9)
Some high power cars that still have the "road super" tires (700BHP/ 675lbft of Torque RB4  )
The audi R10 type of cars would be nice.

A little competition for the UF1.... a 1967 Volkswagen BUG

And for god sakes No more 4-bangers!!! illepall Give us some true V8, W8, W12, V12 POWER!! Hmm, How about Supercharged instead of Turbo too...
You know what LFS needs???

The Peterbilt Truck from Duel

Thatway you can do Juggarnaught in the Carpark and teach them noobs not to mess with a sereial killer truck!
faster FXO and FXR
6 wheel F1
SIERRA COSWORTHS!!!!!

GOD DAMN I LOVE COSWORTHS!! WOOOOOOOO

Quote from namas :Simple, take the cars from Need For Speed Carbon or undergraund (x) and a few street cars like a Golf or a BMW

wrong game buddy.

bwahahahahah, i dont think so, the cars would blow up, they be shocked by the diference in realism from nfs (where the cars handles like there in a cartoon) and lfs (most realistic car sim ive ever played)

frenchy
nfs cars ? -.- no......

But a Subaru Impreza 22b would be nice

Yeah i have the RB4 and hes nice, but it doesnt look like a impreza 22b

But it will stay a dream and thats ok
i like the cars in LFS just like they are
As said earlier, a Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 would be great f'in fun!
Quote from keltern :As said earlier, a Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 would be great f'in fun!

I would like to see cars like:
-Opel Tigra (my car ROLF BUAHAHA)
-Opel Astra Caravan station wagon
-Some mini vans
-Chrysler 300c, Dodge Challenger
-SUV like cadillac
-Skyline / Impreza / Lancer
-Definately 4x4 like Discovery 3, Toyota LC with small offroad/trial park!

NORMAL CARS PLEASE =)
I've not read through the entirety of this thread, but some historical saloon cars would be nice (Lotus Cortina, Mk1 Ford Escort, Humber Super Snipe) and some Trans Am cars (AMC Javelin/AMX, Plymouth AAR 'Cuda, Ford Boss 302 Mustang) would make a change from the existing lineup.

When originally raced all the cars listed had crossply tyres, so they'd be a challenge
UFR whacko edition - powered by a bike engine.
