I "searched" looking through the first page of this, to see if this was already brought up, and aparently it wasnt. So what exactly is the point of forming a team?

having fun together, sharing all kinds of stuff, beeing comeptive against other teams ect ect. this list goes on forever

So you compete against other teams? Ive always wondered how this works.

There are some events or championships where you can go as a team and race against other teams. There you can gather points for your team and for yourself, so it's really challenging.

Also there are unofficial events between teams.

Check for OLFSL, OWRL, Battle Of The teams etc and generally the Leagues & Events section of this forum http://www.lfsforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=22

In our forums and most forums, they have a "Challenge Us" area where other teams can pitch their best against ours.
It gives a sense of camaraderie, us against the world kind of thing.

Being a team has advantages that
- You get to know other LFSer's better
- You can regularly practice with them and improve
- Allows you to enter some leagues as they are teams only
- Challenge other teams to races
- Adds to immersion and can add to the fun of lfs

The list goes on and on but you get the idea
