I think the reason for this is because i use a headset, i havnt yet plugged speakers into my new rig as such.

I spoke to Becky rose, and she informed me i needed some "stereo mix" option in my volume recording properties.

So, i installed some Audio drivers from my ASUS mobo CD, which went haywire. as i didnt have speakers to here any sound, i couldnt test the recording from fraps, and it also wouldnt let my use mu headset as the primary playback device.

So, i un-installed the audio drivers, and now im back to the way it used to be, headset working ok, still no sound from fraps.

Any ideas?

Are you using the registered version? Those bastards have removed the audio capture from the free one.

FRAPS Should look like this. Apart from the name of the sound device. Take a screenshot of yours, i'll take a look.
