I need an easy to control setup.
Yep. For the Xr GT Turbo. For the following reasons.
1. For multiplayer races. I can hardly stay with the pack because I ALWAYS spin on the chichane, first corner, ect. But i want to be a good racer. I need this because of that. All the setups i get, i can't control it. Tips on the setup will be good.
2. When i do rally races on single player, i just make a crapy drift setup, and put hybrid/knobbly tyres on. I know this isn't enough. So can you get a RallyX setup? Also tips will be appriciated.
3.Drift Setup for drift servers. When i iniciate a slide, I start making dounughts.

If you ****ing go on Team Inferno, I will kill you. If you secretly go on to it, i will ALWAYS check my setups. if they are the same, I will kill you. ****ING MAKE A SETUP THAT A DEMO CAN CONTROL ON EVOSTAR TYRES!

a) no bad language thanks, if you want people to help you out, it helps if you're nice.
b) The XR GT Turbo is easy to drive, it's probably more your driving than the set, if you're spinning everywhere. You have heard of countersteering and throttle control I take it?
c) Did you try out my sticky easy race setups pack thread at the top of this forum?
d) Tyre brands, like evostar, make no difference, they're purely visual.

i take it you were raised by wolves?

It was all going so well up to that point.....i was just about to send you a setup.
But unfortunately i tend not to deal with psyco's

Good luck getting people to help you with that attitude.
I'll be nice now. Its just I like fast races. Also, I have tried the setups, and don't fit my style. But I don't wan't team inferno, so please, a fast, but easy to control setups for drift, rallyx and race. Pretty please with a reeeely fast car on top? Everyone, I'm sorry for taking a phycho. It's just while I was at school, no one would shut the hell up. I couldn't concentrate, and take a phycho. Mr. Coulhun, our headmaster, prevented us from going out for lunch. True Story, I'd swear it was. I was still in a bad mood when I posted, and now im not. So sorry.

What are you using? Wheel? What wheel post your specs please.
Good for you I am such a nice person and share a fast and pretty easy to control (at least to me) Rallycross setup.

I think it's made by 3ttan. Try it.

for CSU1 i don't have a wheel. For Kronvall, i'll test the setup. I'll edit after what it feels like. Thank you.

Edit. The setup may be just to fast to control. But other than that, it may be good on drift servers which run on rallycross. Thanks!
It's not a setup you need. It's more practice!!

I can get within about 4 or 5 seconds of most WRs even with the default set. But then I've had 40,000 miles of practice.

Drive the XRG until you can lap it without struggling every corner, then try the XRT.

I have started to learn the XR GT Turbo weakness. I just accelarate to hard on the car and lets loose. Bob, I am using your easy race setup, and is just a bit slidy for me. But I can control it. It's just not getting me enough speed. So, how do i make that into a Rally X setup? All i do is change the tyre tread, and I think i'm done. But when i use it, guess what? It is flippin' useless. No more road practise, but now moving to rally. I need help or this i'll happen to my setups.:bananadea :jedi: :heyjoe67_ :biggun: :fence: :davosmili

If you are having trouble controlling the rear of the XRT on corner exit try unwinding the lock before you apply the power. Position the car at entry so you can unwind the lock early and get the power on. That's how to be fast in these cars.

btw - Bob's easy race setups are great for learning a circuit because they are easy to control. The downside of this is that they understeer which costs you oodles of time (is that how you spell oodles?).

Yes it is. btw, how do i convert a race setup to a rallyx setup?

different tires. higher ride height. softer springs and dampers. shorter gear ratios. you'll basically be starting from scratch, changing almost everything.

Just use almost max ride height, soften springs to 1.6-1.8Hz and do math for dampers to match those and set gears, then start playing with settings adjust parameters very little one or two clicks only and only one parameter at time do lot of test driving and comparisons which settings combination feels best, make sure you set it so that it does not bottom out and also does not jump again back to air after jump (quite some rebound damping and lot of ride height), also be careful with ARBs as you don't like it to go sideways all time, it just will toast tires and slow you down, when driving make sure you don't slide on tarmac that eats tires quick, use as low pressure on tires as possible.

Should be at least a start for good rally setup.

I need an easy to control setup.
