S2 license what what?
Oh yes, check it out, finally got it

Tough getting used to the cars and the tracks, anybody have a noob server to offer or prefer to get started with these?
Welcome to S2.

No real need for "noob" servers, just take things at your own pace, try not to trip over any of the fastest guys, maybe run the first couple of races from the back until you get used to the circuit and you'll be welcome pretty much anywhere. Common sense stuff really.

I'm fairly new myself, only had LFS for a week or so. I've been playing around on the STCC New & Bronze server and so far haven't had any trouble, even though I'm usually 2-4 seconds slower than the leaders (*sigh*). As long as you obey the blue flags and don't take out the lead lap cars, you'll get along fine and learn a lot, plus the license program gives you something to work towards.

Maybe practice with the UF1000 in single player race/hotlaps for a while to get a feel for it before you go online (try some different setups, too). Once online, if you don't know the track, go into spectator mode and follow along with one of the leaders until you feel comfortable giving it a shot.

Good luck.
Quote from [RCG]Boosted :do the training missions, they are a good start

Ditto that, then point yourself at STCC1a/b, they really help improve your racing technique

Not really a n00b server, but you're more than welcome to come race with us on the CoRe and LOTA servers in the evenings. Pretty good crowd of US/Canada drivers, and some imports. :]
