I used it with V5 and I got a fine output but also the error messages.

Works fine for me too with V5.
When trying to generate graphs for a replay I've got an error (see attachment).

The replay was generated from patch S2V (no test patch), Stats 1.49, Graph 1.19.

Any idea if it is possible to solve the problem?

Do you have .NET Framework v2 installed?
flyby3d, replacing comma with dot in line 28 of graph.xml might help.

WOW! it works! Thankyou very much.
Hello.
Recently I began modifying stats to support new insim packets which Scawen generously agreed to add.

I'd like to ask for your help in testing the new version as I don't have any hold on crowded multiplayer replays, especially recorded with the latest lfs patch, W.

Also your feedback will be a good indicator should I still put efforts into the program's developing or it is nothing but a time waste.

Oh please continue. This is the pefect tool for a league admin. Lot's of stats in an easy to read fashion. Plus... I like that it lists what aids people are using.
I was just about to ask you about future developements... and here you go!

Good job.
Well, I use your tool very often, especially like X-Ter said for league admin and/or for information about my own or others strength and weaknesses.

@test:

First a list of new things for users :
- Serversettings
- Numberplates
- Pit stops (racew)
- Penalties like DT or Stop&Go (racew)
- blue and yelow flags

I have tried it now for Patch W and for V. 2 races where there was at least one pitstop and 2 qualifyings (1 normal 15minutes and a one-lap-quali).

Patch V: OLQ - Race
Patch W: Quali - Race

As you can see, the numberplates are not displayed when a driver does not finish the race. When creating stats for a qualifying session, "{NumberPlate}" is shown.
While pit stops I was wondering in what orders the tyres are listed? In my opinion the things that are done in the pits can be seperated with a line or semicolon

Blue and yellow flag "causers" can be misunderstood Something like "getting" or so would be more suitable.
btw, I have lots of replays here. If I should test something give me a sign

One more thing, that I wanted to say since your tool can do stats for qualification:
I just wanted to add that "Lap time stability" for a qualification is
not very useful because only one lap is important and not the outlaps
Smith, it's not a waste of time. FLP has been using your tool to generate statistics for each major ever since we started almost one year ago, and we'd very much like for you to keep developing LFS Stats!

I will try the new version right away and write a user's guide in swedish (to be published at liveforspeed.se) within a day or two.
Smith, keep the development going please.
I use stats for all our team stats for any league races our team do in AUS.
It is the most user friendly, well detailed & easy to read app for stats going around
The new improvements from the patch W stats test look neat.

A question about the WR values, how do they work as all I get is blanks in the columns for the WR values.

The numbers are fetched from LFS World, but in order for you to retrieve the data, you must request and enter a pubstatkey.

Cheers, all working now.
Hey Smith,
Have noticed that some of the pit stop information is not being collected with the new test stats for patch W. Take a look at the following.
http://www.ozsport.org/stats/a ... heeln_07/OW_Rd6_DivA.html
refer to Ben, KNAPPO & Delray25's pit stop stats

This was taken from our AUS league race replay, which can be found here.
http://www.starlyon.com/bugle/lfs/AAL_Fo8_citylong.mpr (19MB)

I have noticed the same problem when doing other stats with other replays. Seems a bit random to me as I can't pinpoint the cause.
I am using LFS S2 Patch W @ 1xspeed to produce the stats with no other programs running in the background
Hi Smith

Just did a 10 lap race full race using the test version

At the start i got some sort of ACK packet message but missed it, but run it again and it did not appear

The stats look fine except 12 out of the 20 players pitted (1 twice) yet in the pit stops section only 11 were recorded and 6 have no details including the one who pitted twice

Cannot see any reason why

I will do another test race later when CD2 is full
Hello guys who care for! First of all, thanks for all of your replies, it is always very satisfying to know someone needs something you work at.

I believe nearly all the problems regarding new insim packets you mentioned are fixed now, so try it and point out the rest of the problems.

This is the first stage of improvements, I think I still have to do something about indicating penalties and pits on graphical representation of the race. But this is a work to do, that is

Works fine for me, smith
Little bug in Qualification stats
I've downloaded the latest attached version and I've noticed a little bug in the qualification stats: in the "Best possible lap" section, the WR gap is calculated not between the WR and the Best Possible Lap, but between the WR and the best qualification lap.

Example:
http://content.faculty.de/lfs/piostats/owrl/f1a/f1ar1q.html

HuskyGoalie best lap is 1:16.47, WR +0.64
His best possible lap is 1:16.44 and WR is still +0.64, but it should be +0.61

Anyway, thanks for this wonderful program, it's very useful
Hi Smith

Tested version test2 and the results look fine, the pit information now works

Possible improvements

1) The Start Order table could do with a column giving details where the player started from (Grid or Pit) or even the time they started after the start of the race. (Grid would be 0.00)

In the test i did 4 drivers joined from the pit but there is no way of telling.

2) Have a html template with a special [lfsstats] tag so it uses up to the [lfsstats] tag as the page header, and after the tag as a footer when building the page.

The [lfsstats] tag would be simply be replaced by the xml templated output

This would make it more simple to put the lfsstats output into a webpage and the html template could be editied using a normal (dreamweaver) application.

Keep up the great work
Hi Smith,
Have tried the new test2 stats (v1.50) and I am not so sure everything is fixed with regard to the pit stop information being captured.

Refer to the following stats from 2 races and the lack of pitstop info for "Patto".
http://www.ozsport.org/stats/m ... _07/RXR_Rd01_DivB_R1.html
http://www.ozsport.org/stats/m ... _07/RXR_Rd01_DivB_R2.html

The replay files are here: (4mb each)
http://mondaynightracing.com/s ... 2007/ofr/r1/rx_r1b_r1.mpr
http://mondaynightracing.com/s ... 2007/ofr/r1/rx_r1b_r2.mpr

Interested to know whether it is stats or something to do with LFS or the replay files themselves. So let me know what you find.
Starblue, the bug is there indeed, and no one noticed it from the very introducing of WR compare
fixed.

birder, regarding pit and grid starts, I'll try to think about it, but I'd like to point out there is no way to determine a player time for any given moment.
About the template request, I don't really understand what prevents you from basing your web site page on the template file itself. You might want to change the template file extension to make dreamweaver recognise it as a hypertext, if that is a problem.
Anyways, introducing an additional template nesting level would create nothing but a mess in the program and its config file, I think.

flinty72, the problem does seem interesting enough. It seems that there are no PLA or PIT packets generated for Patto when he enters/exits pitlane and makes pit-stop. The only explanation I can think of is Paato running an older LFS. Host might check client version and avoid sending new insim packets in case of version dicrepancies.

I also use a template in Dreamweaver to make site wide changes and although my template looks fine and yours looks fine in DW if they are put together it causes mayhem.

Not to worry, its just that a header, [content], footer is how i do it with perl scripts

thanks for the answer

Ah yes that could very well be the case. I will investigate which version Patto was running for those races and report back. I also have another racer in another event that had the same problem & I will check with them also. It makes sense to me. Thanks
