There seems to be a problem with the wrong track loading for *some* players when a server changes track. We've begun to notice it mostly since patch W, but it was first brought to our attention on 26th March. At first we thought it was an exploit but we've since come to realise it's a bug.
I think we've noticed it because we change tracks every two hours on each of the populated STCC servers. We wondered if it was a problem with the STCC manager software, but it turns out that the same faulty information is arriving at LFSW.
eg: http://www.lfsworld.net/?win=r ... stomeq&raceId=1853771
In this race, the racers receiving the unfeasibly fast laps in XRTs and RB4s believed they were racing at Fern Bay.
It seems Fern Bay features most in the examples I have of this bug appearing (either changing to or from a FE track or WE), though I have a feeling I've banned someone for *apparently* cheating at SO City too. I'm trying to remember who that was so I can unban them too
Hope this all helps. I'll try to gather more useful patterns to reproduce the bug if that will help.
