Im in desperate need!!

There are severall nice people buying vouchers for people, look around forums for competitions and stuff winner gets a S2 voucher
well i see some but the ? are a lil hard for a 13 yr old that has been playing for 3 month can any1 help please
I'll look around for you
thanx for the help man
I just won a license about 3 hours ago..and my questions were easy..here were my questions...

Quote from jayhawk :

1)what is my real first name? (blatantly obvious)

2)Do I live near Chicago, Illinois?

3)What league did I establish in December, 2006?

4)Do I use a wheel, or a mouse to drive?

See there not all that hard there bud..im 15 and played S1 demo for about 3 months then i quit for about 2 years then i got back into lfs again and been looking for contests ever since and I finally won. You just got to keep trying...don't give up!
i saw that comp after you won lol but all the other comps have like 5-10 ? each
Now we're going to get a bunch of demo racers all screaming for free licenses...

Why can't people accept that some people are being very generous in giving away £24s of money they've worked for. I'm sorry but personally I find these sort of threads are just people trying to take advantage of peoples generosity.

If I see someone else win a competition, I don't scream out asking for someone to give me the prize as I can't afford it... It's the same thing here.

So what you've been here 3 months, there are actually demo users who have been here longer and actually done stuff for the demo & licensed community.

Not being able to afford things is life, not many people can afford the things they want without saving up their money... It's a matter of getting your priorities right, you want something? You grab all the opportunities you can to make a bit of cash and save it up to buy it.

You want LFS for free? Well then I guess you're just going to have to do what the others have done and look out for opportunities to win it...
Gee, I have a wife, house, 2 kids, upkeep on 2 cars, etc, etc. My wife's car is a $330/month payment with only 5000 miles on it. I just bought it. My dishwasher and stove just broke, so I had to plunk down $1200 on some new appliances. I'd really like to have an actual graphics card (I'm on onboard) and would really like to have a G25, but I can't afford those after buying an $18000 car for the wife and $1200 in new appliances. Would some kind soul buy me a gfx card and a G25, because I really really want those, but don't have the money to pay for them!

Oh, and since I had to scrap my truck and buy the new one, I inherited the wife's old 1996 Altima with 150,000 miles on it. The radiator support I just noticed is rusted through and needs replaced and the windshield just got chipped the other day by a rock and is now cracked halfway across. But the worst part is, it's an automatic and I can't stand driving an automatic. I really need another car for myself, but since I just bought the new one, I can't carry another payment, so I'm stuck with the Altima. Could someone please buy me a new car for myself as well? You don't have to buy me all 3, the gfx, G25, and the car. Just split it up between 3 of you to make it easier. I'm not picky about the car. It doesn't have to be new, just something with a manual tranny and under 100,000 miles please!

Thanks! I await patiently for your PM.
One thing I don't understand is: How can you not have any money when you're 13? You have absolutely NO expenses what so ever. When I was 13 I got off my ass and did a paper run, saved up my money and bought stuff I wanted.

Now I'm a full time student and I don't have any money , but I used some of my savings money from part time work that I did at school to buy S2
Id have to agree with the general vibe most people are going with here, if you really want LFS then buy it.

LFS is purely a luxury and not something you need desperately, some people in the western world today still struggle and are very much on the bread line. If you cannot afford to buy it then...well tough, you're going to have to deal with demo.
well, you aren't exactly desperate. what some drug addicts are willing to do to get money for crack is what I'd call desperate. a 14yo kidney goes for quite alot on the black market. you'd probably have enough left over for a whole new pc and a g25. I'd reccomend you buy a few enforcers to guarentee that only the kidney is taken from you.
At the age of 10, I was sticking up skittles in a pub every wednesday night for £10. I dont that for 5 years.
Then I worked in another pub but in the kitchen, every weekend. I done that for 2 years, on £5 an hour.
While I was washing dishes, I got a full time job, working in an office selling organic garden products, earning £6.50 an hour, 40 hours a week.

I am now in the middle of setting up my own company with my father.

I pity you, but alot of people here have worked hard for the stuff. I have too, I have alot of stuff, as I do alot of work

I have a high-spec PC, a G25, £500 hi-fi, £1300 worth of BMW, double bed, widescreen tv, Sky+, and much more.

Get a job, get some self respect and get alot of satisfaction from buying something with your hard earned cash.

Kids today, tsk.
Sell 80 lemonades for 25 cents a piece and you got yourself S1.

Cut someones grass once, maybe twice and get yourself S2.
so s2 is $40 cuz ive been workin a lil and have $45
Yes, well, currently as of this second it is
47.3757 USD
So no, not quite, but about a month ago it was $45.
This shouldn't be encouraged. I don't have a problem with someone buying a license for this guy, but opening a thread for asking a license and receiving one could mean the starting of threads asking for licenses everyday.

For the people out there, if you want to give a license, just start a contest, not Q&A, but something original like, skins, photos, videos, songs, costumes or whatever related to LFS so the whole community can enjoy the giveout too. But don't just say "Raise your hand and get a license".

To buy a game when I was 13, I had to save several months of the small assignation I got for helping at home. I didn't go out there asking for people to buy me a game.

Wow mate you really have worked hard

I'm 16(17 this year) and droped out of school year 8.
I have never had a job because of thinng what have gone on in junior school. But now I'm waiting for college to send me a comfirmation letter to say I'm on the course. And going there everyday will get me £30 a week. Which will be used on football and topping my phone up then rest I'll save up. And I'm going to try get a job sunday job too. (not saturday cause of football )

And I'm going to try save up for a top spec pc with a G25 wheel. I'm also wanting to get a motorbike and do my CBT but I come to learn things dont come easy in life.

But I guess I was lucky cause my parents bought me S2

But I wouldn't go around asking people I don't even know to buy me stuff.

P.S for the people who have built there own PC. For a first timer is it really dificult to build a PC? Cause seems alot cheaper then buying a ready made one and you get which specs you want in it.

You're a jerk. The kid is 13. How about simply be a role model and offer encouragement rather than broadcast to everyone in the world your financial blunders.

Good luck with those, though. Life is full of decisions...I'm sure you'll make the best ones for you and your family. (Although if you're complaining about your financial responsibilities, I'm going off the assumption that your wife makes all the big financial decisions in your house. Probably because you've pinned her in a corner where she had to grow the stones or watch her family commit financial suicide...so have fun playing video games!! (See where making fun of a 13 year old gets ya?))

I'm 14, have had LFS for a few years now.

I worked hard for about a month to afford S2, All mrodgers was saying is that you can't have the things you want, when you want. Hey, some people may be able to do that, but alot can't.

Playapimp - You should consider doing jobs for people like neighbours or your friends, its a good way to make $5 here and there. Pretty soon you'll have enough for S2. Just keep trying!

You don't do 'irony' do you?
Quote from spacedeck :Wow mate you really have worked hard

Not bad for a 16, nearly 17 year old eh?

I'm sure you had your reason for dropping out of school and I really hope one day you get a lucky break

There is nothing better than using the things that you have bought, with your money, that you earned.

I think you are the jerk.

If we treat this kid like he's a God, he will expect to people to buy him things and one day it will hit him hard when he has been kicked out by his parents for not bringing in any money.

With my first pay packet, it was gone in 10 minutes of having it because it all went to my parents to pay my way. (It was only a weeks work, as I started one week from the end of the month.

When I 13, I had a job, I had also been working for 3 years previous and since then I have paid my way. I was buying dinner with my own money when I was in school and didnt dare think about asking my mum and dad for money. I bought my S2 licence, my G25, my high end PC, my car, my hi-fi, almost everything. I have even bought S2 for people less fortunate than myself.

mrodgers is no jerk. He is a guy who obviously works to survive. I bet he gets up at the crack of dawn and works his nuts off to support his family. He continues to come across situations which will cost him an arm and a leg, we all do. But He didn't make a post saying, my car has broken down, please can someone buy me a new gearbox.

Don't expect anyone to help you or symphasize with you, what I and others have said may sound harsh, but thats life. The quicker he realises, the quicker he can become a real man.

Sorry for double post.
