Hi,
i would like to have following feature in LFS:

Sometimes you do races with pitstops, but you cant see who has done how much stops. Thats very irritating because you dont kow if you are racing somebody or if he still has to pit.

Maybe you could add a small field for the pitstops to the position-list.

Example:

great idea you find out at the end but there it hardly very useful there

now having a longer race...u realy get spammed by this stuff?
its a good idea but i dont like it!

with the new insim changes that also give pitstop data...it can be done via insim / outgauge + the new button features...

maybe someone can code it up...but i dont want to get spammed by this stuff every race

Yeah I was thinking about this some days ago, when I was having a race and didn't remember who in front of me had already pitted and who hadn't.

lol, me too. During Gentlefoots practice race (140 laps) I was thinking how many/who has pitted already.

Good idea, this is probably one of only a few actually good ideas I've ever seen suggested here.

+1 for that, i think this idea is very useful, so you see if the racer behind or forward to you was already in pit or not, so you know that you have to drive more aggressive or not

I'm also thinking that it should show what lap they where on when they pit so you know how many laps theyve gone and you can guess about when they will pit again.

Might be over thinking the idea a little, you don't really need that much info just, if they have pitted or not and how many times, is enough I think. I have never done a race that would require more than one stop and I've never needed to work out how many times others have stopped and on what lap.

it wpuld be cool if it is shown if you press F11 like the restrictor thing and the handicap

But then you can't see it when you are at a race Then you would have to switch in their cams to show you if they have pit or not
I Think it would be better when its shown at the table downsite with the race positions

I posted a thread quite a while ago with some ideas for HUD improvements and it met with warm reception, I still think some of my ideas should be implemented in some way.
