single seaters with logitech g25
recently bought a g25 but cant set it up to drive single seaters, none of the gears will engage, but fine in other cars. what am i doing wrong
Single seaters in LFS use sequential gears, so you have to setup paddles or the sequential shifter mode on the G25. You can't use H-shifting in them.

i know this may be an age old question, but im thinking about changing my old MS FF wheel/logitech pedals combo.

either a g25 or DFP.

may i ask what you used before you got your G25?
was it worth the dosh?

cheers.

I had a MS FF wheel before I got my G25. It is really worth the money, best wheel I've ever used.

the DFP is good, but the G25 is worth every PENNY of it's price, trust me
nice.

thanks for the answers guys

I used the DFP for from release to aa few months ago along with ActLabs pedals and shifter. The G25 is far better than the DFP and much faster force feedback and less rotational friction.

The DFP is a good wheel but the G25 is a great wheel.
You bastards...I managed to pass through the relative hype unharmed, and NOW you convince me?

G25 worth all.. but its not working at the moment for me, gotta take it to repair. EVERY button works with the whole system (pedals, buttons, shifer), but not the steering wheel axis.. just not working.. .

How do you set this up without changing settings every time you change form a sequential to an H-pattern car? My set-up was working seamlessly until I tried to get the sequential shift knob to work in parallel to the paddles and now I have a completely screwed-up mess.

Same scenario here: the H-pattern cars work fine, the sequential have no shifting at all. If you assign the paddles to up shift and down shift, it takes away 1st and 2nd gears from the H-pattern cars. Like there is not a separate "profile" for each configuration. It WAS working, but damned if I can figure out how to get it back!
