I'm sick of the XFR but love the GPs. FOXs and FO8s are pretty well covered in other leagues. I think either the GTRs or LXs would be good fun.

Blackmail is a dirty word but I hope the track is Blackwood, I'd hate to have to post various teamspeak recordings.

TBOs are very well covered for racing at the moment. LRF would have been more interesting. Oh well.

i know what your saying.
But the point of the 60 Lap GP's is that its simply a fun organised event without having to join any League ect. This is one of the few times that its changed from XFR/UFR.

i didn't WANT the speed advantage, without sounding too egotistical i was quite happy using my skill advantage to beat FXO's, and then have the "You only won because your in an FXO" line chucked in my face.

Now i cant win against an XRT when they get a crappy (ie tail out, smoke rising from tyres) and i can get a great exit to a corner i've been round at least 710 times before, and while i'll start to overtake him, he just opens the throttle and shoots into the distance

After the patch, we'll have to start spamming the forum with posts such as 'Balance the FXO', 'TBO class unbalanced' etc etc

It's ironic, i know, but the FXO just needs to start again - why scale the engine and weight when you can just re-size the oversized tyres?

To be honest I haven't tried the TBOs in the test patches (not really a big fan of them) but the FXO's dominance did make them very dreary in the past and so I'm glad some effort is being made to balance them.

ISTR Scawen saying that the weight/intake restrictions were a temporary measure, so maybe when the FXO gets skinnier tyres in future it might be a bit more like it. In the meantime I suppose you'll just have to do what the XRT/RB4 drivers had to do for the last couple of years - suck it up.
