Precisely, notice how on the onboard of Alonso, he keeps to the inside longer than normal, until Heildfeld disappears, to which he then moves across to the other apex for a good exit..

Owning, using or seeing an F3 car has not changed my perceptions of what is fair on track or off. The only thing that has changed is my respect for Formula drivers in the wet - truly amazing! But I'm trying to learn FROM F1, not using my false sensibilities to judge F1. I just hope that moves like Alonso's don't become too commonplace.

While i'm no racing expert, I saw the move to be, while a little on the aggressive and desperate side, perfectly fine. Sure, he probably could have and should have waited till a proper overtaking spot, instead of diving down the inside of a chicane, and it was fairly obvious that he did it out of desperation rather than "omg i'm a better racer so i'll use my supreme racing skill to pass", but it happened, nick went off, no collision, get over it :\

Yes, in my book it's unfair, MS drove into him on purpose. DC obviously doesn't agree with the LFS UK karting brigade either.
