I only race LFS and fly FS9. Though with the new gfx card, I hope to give that GTL/GTR and rFactor demos a whirl sometime. Perhaps FSX as well.

This thread may be of some help if you're on the hunt of free games.

I'm currently playing through Half Life 2 and HL2:Ep1 again. I'd forgotten how much I love these games.

Richard Burns Rally is probably my favourite sim ever, although I really enjoyed GTR and GT Legends as well. I agree with the person who said Il-2 Sturmovik is fantastic!

The physcis behind ROR are unbelieveable. I wonder how long it will be before computers are powerful enough to do the whole grid of a racing sim like that.

the next version is supposed to have multiplayer support but nobody knows when it will come out.
developement is similar to LFS

Flight Simulator X!

Great game.. (for good pc's, which I don't have)

X-Plane! Quite simply, wonderful, and in my opinion puts Microsoft to shame (not tried FSX though, as the blingy graphics turn me off).

Racer, RBR, FS9, Ship Simulator 2008 (when it's released soon)

Orbiter. Not really a game it is a space flight simulator with near perfect physics.

I'm trying to get hold of Geoff Crammon's GP4 as I heard with the F1 2006 mods it's the best (only?) F1 game on PC. A bit like NR2003 with the 07 mod is still the best NASCAR game on PC.

Oh, I wasted many a long night playing Falcon 4.0 back in the day, it was wonderful. I still count the first time I managed to land the plane one of my top gaming moments ever.

Today I tried LockOn, hell what a confusing menu style.
Only other Sim's i played were FS2000 and FS2002. And Simcity 3000 (still like it)

MS Train Simulator!!!

When not playing LFS I can be found playing Silent Hunter 4 (WWII US submarine simulation). Actually, I've not played SH4 in a while as I'm waiting for the next patch to come out. It was released in an appalling state (patch v1.1 was actually posted the same day the game was released!) but it should be something quite nice when v1.3 comes out.

It really makes me appreciate the LFS devs when I see how Ubisoft treat their customers.
