my question is :how can i get custom music ingame - if you can? i want to have my own music in the bg while driving but i get serious lag. i have all the converting gear if its needed.

just convert it to .ogg and put it in lfs>data>ogg

Winamp has a memory footprint like an elephants. Foobar anyone?

Also, Audacity is what I use for converting to OGG and whatnot.

Hey, i never noticed any breakdowns because winamp. Should i start using Foobar? I tried it some years ago, but now i have a powerfull PC. I dont think its necessary

Foobar is generally better than winamp anyhow IMO. However it doesn't have all the features, but it has a lower memory footprint. Try it out IMO

meh, i use XMPlay, seeing as WMP eats resources like i eat pizza! although i dont race while listening to music

When I run Winamp with LFS (I run LFS in high priority) my Music stut--tt--tt--tt-tters like mad, so for some people, winamp is not a possibility.

Also, I find music to be a distraction, but I have some of my favs in OGG format in LFS for cruising.

That's odd, my comp can run LFS S2 and Winamp at the same time with minimal stutter?

I also run LFS in high priority, to make my FPS much more stable, but it only happens when changing tracks, so its not a big deal, but I still prefer using the ingame media player (all my songs are in OGG )
