I think that with the next patch, they should renew the RAC.

The model in game is the '02 model, and the '06 Model has revised bumper, painted lights as well as some extra power and torque.

I don't think the RAC will be getting updated any more, unless the design/development team get in contact with Scavier again.

On the new model - I don't like the painted light housing. I much prefer the LFS version in that respect. Extra power/torque might also imbalance the LRF class even more than now too

But I do agree it is a very nice looking car. I want a hardtop/slicks/downforce version

I only want a Rear ARB...

I want some wing on LRF Class....

I want an airplane o_O








Anyway, I think the RAC is great as it is. I have not raced much with it, but it`s a good car and fun to race

I hope the real life version handles better than the one in the game.

I like the blue interior though and the new gauges. But I prefer a general update on cars interior and stuff than just an updated model for the RAC. Then the BF1 should be updated too and frankly the rest of the cars look like they're build a decade ago, so they all need to be updated really.

They ought to get an update for S2. Maybe with the present lower poly models kept as an option, or as part of the dynamic range of LOD..

This is the trouble with real cars in LFS. Once one is added people always want to upgraded to the new body shape, spec, etc.

The RAC is a GREAT car that is NOT too much of a handful. It's just a car you have to drive wwith a little respect or it will punch you in the face and then kick you in the balls for good measure.

Adding a rear arb would change its character and remove the way it leaves you on edge while you drive it.

I hate the RAC's understeer.

It says here that they already use the 2005 model. I know they use the 02' model, but why are they saying they use the 05' model if they clearly know they gave them right to put the 02' model in?

Agree, but those are indeed cars that separate mens from boys, not anyhing like those silly wing stuff that even grandma could drive

Well, must say that I'm not too good driving those, but those are quite enjoyable to practice driving in, feels more like real street car as you have to be quick with them or you become passenger. XRG and XRT are quite easy to drive and very difficult to spin, maybe it is setup or something like that, but I feel them to be bit too easy.

Wing cars then are so easy to drive to the point that most of time those are boring and when you make error there is nothing one can do, except those aliens, but they are out from this world anyway

Well, here's my simple suggestion: they change it from "RA / RAC" to "RaceAbout 2002 / RAC". The BMW has a date; the MRT does too, in a way.

Hell, how about giving the made up cars made up (or not made up!) model years?

Ditto, I think the early interiors are much classier all round.

Is there a resemblance?

I don't want a new RAC. there's nothing wrong with the old one. much. "if you drive it carfully it can be one hell of a fast car"

There is setups used in those videos, however you will not break WR with those, also you need to learn my style of driving if your style is different to be able to get car going where you would like with those, but maybe those offer different point of view to RAC.

RAC is car that likes that you accelerate trough corner, it has more power than grip to many corners so you need to learn also how you can use turbo lag for your benefit and how to avoid spinning when it kicks in. RAC don't like a lot if you try to trailbrake, weight is at rear so driving RAC is bit like throwing sledgehammer that has dynamite attached to heavy end

Also I use 720 degrees or 900 degrees when driving it, after little practise it starts to go alright. Now I'm learning with XRR, downforce set to 0 degrees both ends and rear arb removed and front reduced, R4 slicks, quite nice , kind of RS500 feeling when blasting trough streets of south city sprint 2 rev, lot similar to RAC, but everything happens just quicker.
Who needs top times when you can have much more fun in bit more realistic and slower pace
