James, Google is quite useless to find plugins for Sony Vegas.

Google is useful for finding anything, you just need to know what to look for.

Try finding a site or a database with Sony Vegas effects, rather than effects themselves.

According to this page on Kvr, Vegas can host DirectX and VST plugins.
And guess on what site you can have information about tons of free and commercial plugins that work with Vegas, and download them...
Hint: you don't have to go far, and you don't even need Google
