Hi !

I just bought a new TFT LCD Monitor (17") with best Res. 1280 x 1024, thats 5:4.

But it looks like LFS dont support 5:4. (I play with 1280x1024 res.)

As i started LFS today (first time with the new monitor) the steering wheel dont seem to be round, it looks like its oval (stretched vertical).

So my question, is it just me who needs glasses, or am i right, and is there any way to fix it ?

LFS will use any resolution that Windows allows.

There used to be a 'Show non-square modes' option...not sure if it is still there.

Other people have also posted the problem about not seeing a certain resolution, but had forgotten to scroll down the list.

It works for me, I have a 17" TFT monitor too.

As I suspected, 'Show non-square modes' has been removed.

I also use that resolution and I have no problems. Hope you get it sorted soon though.

ok i think i just overeacted. I played around with the monitor settings and the graphic card driver. I think its just a bit different for me, cause its my first tft, i always had CRT Montiors before.

Lfs makes rly more fun with a bigger Monitor (even if its just a few cm bigger)
