Don't know where you are from, but RappaZ is close to me, as in the next state over to the east. It is definitely not cold out and we just were done with 5 days of 95 degrees with high humidity. Don't listen to him .
It is cooler this week. Some 80 F temperature is quite a nice break from 95 and humid. Last week was so humid I could only sleep about an hour or 2 every night because everything felt so wet.
Yesterday couldn't have been a better day. It was about 72 without a cloud in the sky until later on at dinner time.
I don't know what frustrates me more, the fact that the UK has somehow skipped a season, or the fact that I am now more aware that the sun is more than just a mythical object in some countries..
To be honest I have loved this summer, I like the temperature to be slightly cool with a slight breeze and some showers. I was born in winter, therefore I am taller and more intelligent than those pesky summer folk. It also means I like overcast, cold and wet days, and I am generally a miserable git.
I hear ya, I hate it when its too hot as well. Unfortunately I like to play a round of golf now and again, but cannot stand playing in the rain.
I'll take ANYTHING other than rain. Wind, overcast, cloud, fog, sun, mild frost even. Just not solid rain for 6 sodding weeks! (or snow, though I'm not ruling that out yet :razz
I was born in the winter, and I hate the winter- particularly cold, grey, wet, overcast days (like today, was supposed to be playing bloody cricket but noooo).........Although, I am also generally a miserable git.
