For me to get a wheel but don't know which one to get MOMO, DFP etc.. but dont want to spend more than about £60 what are your thoughts.

Also ive tried an xbox 360 wheel on LFS and didnt like it at all i hated it and thought it felt very un-realistic, how does it compare to the DFP and MOMO ???

Thanks Pearcy
Where is jakg when you need him?

Erm, i have to say that both are a very good wheel, and either one would do you well, as long as you dont mind giving them a bit of TLC, then it will be fine.
I dont like the sound of that ill break it...

I'm here!

In short, get a DFP.
DFP FTW!

Its nothing too bad, just dusting around the pedals once a week (its amazing the amount of dust can gather there) should stop it (pots becoming dirty and spiking) from occuring too often, although, again, jak is a better person to ask.

BTW: TLC = Tender Loving Care, incase you thought it was some sort of electrical faultyness or something

Dust isn't the problem, getting a Rev. A is.

It's all outlined in my wheel guide.
DFP, dark planets have them for £69

What's wrong with MOMO ? I've got one and it's doing the job just fine
Nothing inherently wrong with the MOMO, it's just not as good as a DFP IMO.

@pearcy, dunno, depends, some items are free delivery, but cheapest delivery is £1.99
USB, it's a PS2 wheel, which also works on the PC.

Properly stated would be, they have different features of each other rather than MOMO isn't as good as the DFP. My MOMO is very nice quality. It's just that, the feature of having 900 degree rotation is nice with the DFP. It doesn't mean it's better than the MOMO. After all, the biggest downfall of both of these wheels is the pedals which are identical.
I ordered my DFP from Dark Planets late on Monday night, it was dispatched on Tuesday and I got it on Wednesday before mid-day.

£75.85 (inc P&P)

Now all I have to do is get used to the FFB and the extra rotation (set at 540).....it is good btw.

Which is why I stated that it was IMO
