Hello there!

The Formula V8 Racing Event is coming up! Since the Racing Series didn't work as wanted, it's time for a single event! Or maybe even more in the future. We will see...

The track will be Aston Grand Prix. Date and time are still not set. To promote this event there is a small teaser. It's almost a minute long. I didn't use any music, only sound effects. All FX, recording and editting (montage) is done by me.

Uses DivX and is about 10 MB big.
Quite ok version, little more compression. Sound is clipping a bit aswell. For better quality use on of the mirrors above.

Both are 720 * 480 pix. The pictures added in the attachment are resized.

Is it not possible to update the Stage 6 version by the way? That little bug is such a shame... Otherwise I'd remove the link if I were you; just let everyone download the Xvid version... it's well worth it!

Yea, I removed that link. I tried to update it already, but I only got the same error.

EDIT: Ok, it's updated. The quality is better and the bug is gone. See first post for the link.

Very Top-Gear'esq the way you pan the track and do all those erratic ZOOMS and moves, and I LOVE it... I absolutely LOVE it. Love the way it has been made, so traditional and predictable to me and I don't care. It is awesome. Great work, well edited.

It sounds good for a while, but I certainly wouldn't race with it, as i can picture my ears bleeding..

Nope, I recorded the original (default) sound and copied that 10 times. I gave them all a little different starting point, so you get small differences, making it sound fatter. And I also used effects on the seperate tracks, like flanger, chorus, etc. I found some sound clips of F3 cars coming by, and you could clearly hear the flanging effect. Probably because of the phase differences in the recording. :P

And I also used some noise sounds and a subbass to give it a bit more power when the car comes by.

Great teaser, loved the whole thing... The only thing that i think needs to be done is when the formula goes by, the camera should shake a little
