I found one : Grand prix manager 2, from the 90's.

GPM and GPM2 always found that quite difficult, was in the end of the field with the end of the season

But in fact in the game he's called john newhouse ( in gpm2 1gpw), which in french means 'maison Neuve'..

There's also this game that's been under development for years now.
