I had mounted a DFP to a folding table(one of those small ones for eatin at the couch0 and it didnt go so well. I wouldnt recoment it unless you have heall heavy weights keeping it down.

my desk is 2 inches thick on the top will it fit without the black spacers removed?

I think as a 15-year-old, you should DAMN be smart enough to calculate from mm to inches and back. If not, you should at least be smart enough to google for a converter. Look at AndroidXP's drawing and check out the measurements yourself.

the max is 1.96 inches (ithink) and im not sure if it is below it or above it

Sounds a silly question but I assume the G25 h-shifter is 6 speed.

What happens if you put it into 6th in a car thats got 5 gears? Is the answer nothing?

It acts as if the 6th was the 5th.

So changing from 5th to 6th (on the G25 shifter) is like just putting the car into 5th gear again?

Depends on the game you're running... Android posted LfS' behaviour, in SimBin's games you get a kind of gear chrunching noise and nothing else, in TD:U you get neutral I think...
