so you've never laughed at an Englishman/Scotsman/Irishman joke? (or Blonde/Brunette/Redhead for that matter). Or any other jokes like that. Or poked fun at some other area of the world or even another area of the UK.

These jokes exist, it's just poking fun, every region has their rivalries, Newcastle's is with Sunderland, we take the piss out of each other as much as the other does. (same goes with north/south, England/Scotland, England/Wales, England/Ireland - I can see a pattern here)

So because a racist joke exists that means it's ok to post on this forum too then? No it isn't. I have a sense of humour, the fact of the matter is, the people making scouse jokes obviously don't because scouse jokes are old and tedious for everyone, most of all for scousers. It's a joke based on a lie, most other jokes mix the truth of a certain culture, with some fiction. It's not the same as other jokes mate, when will you learn.

Ever thought maybe I have been turned-down jobs or been pre-judged because of where I live? Yea, thought not. This goes deeper than racism, because scousers have been around along time and these jokes just need to stop. I get stick all the time, and in the same way get 'outsided' like a black man or a muslim might. Liverpool is the most pre-judged place on the planet, everybody thinks the crime is high, probobly because people telling these jokes are giving people the impression scousers are stealing from everyone.

I take it back and apologise, I didn't realise it wa this "bad"...

I saw this football thread as an opportunity to have a bit of friendly banter with fellow supporters, and expected to be on the receiveing end as much as giving it out.

There are a lot more derogatory songs etc I could have quoted had I wanted to try and cause offence.

Like I said before, I get turned down from jobs because of where I am from, the seriousness voids any jokes. People outside of Liverpool still think it is funny. That's why it is so closely related to racism in my opinion, get with the times.
