Ever heard Joe Jack Talcum? His solo on Punk Rock Girl is probably the best guitar solo I've ever heard.

Sometimes, I found a song that contains superb guitar solo but never heard it name before,
it happens, there is plenty of good but unknown musician out there imo.

If you are a Satriani fan, than Im sure you will like other guitarist I mention before,
especially Vai, he is really good and funny guy though.
Petrucci is also very very good, he plays like a machine, he is
lead guitarist of the Dream Theatre.
Satriani-Vai-Malmsteen these three called "G3" had some concerts together. You may like.
