Storm Racing is inviting all players for a Head to Head Competition at Aston!
Here's the details:
Event Date: December 29, 19:00 GMT
Car available: LX6
Track available: Aston Cadet Rev
Competition Rules:
-> Because of head-to-head races, we need 32 drivers (or at least 16).
-> There will be a 20min qualifying (starting at 19:00) where all drivers can do as many laps as they want/can.
-> The idea is to have the best possible players at the final. So the matchs are decided based on qualifying times, this way:
1st vs. 32nd (or 16th)
2nd vs. 31st (or 15th)
3rd vs. 30th (or 14th) and so on - see attachments for details on 32 and 16 players.
-> All races will be 1 lap long.
-> First Round starting grid: worse time at qualify in 1st, better time in 2nd. For the remaining races, worse time at previous race starts 1st, better time starts 2nd.
-> When at the track, please make sure to respect the other driver. Contacts are allowed, but don't go harder than you should, or you'll get a time penalty or be disqualified.
-> Patch Y (or latest test patch) will be used.
-> Best line can NOT be drawn on the track - (Forced Cockpit View is used to enforce this).
-> If we have more than 16 drivers and less than 32, all drivers are allowed to qualify but only the Top16 will be able to compete. The eliminated drivers are invited to stay and spectate the races.
Important: if we don't reach 32 drivers, the event will be run with 16 drivers - even if we have 31 entries.
Note that this depends so much on the number of racers, so please sign in even if there's already more than 32 drivers - so we can have some in reserve in case someone doesn't show up.
Also note that the entire event will take from 1 hour to 2 hours depending on the cooperation of the players and number of racers.
