Actually, I can't be there at all really. You'll be stuck on a track I'm afraid. I'll let you have all cars though.
From the desk of Race Control this 5th January 2008

I will be on the server for an official Live For Speed Beginner's Cup test day. The server will be open all day, but I will be beginning the offical test at 1500 GMT and running it until 1830 GMT. I will glady switch combos as per the request of attendees.

I would rather this be an open practice session, without lap or time restritions, other than the whims of the attendees. As of the time of this post, the server is configured to Aston North with the RB4, FXO, and XRT for 15 minute quals, 3 laps race no wind.

I'll be on it till about 0500 GMT just messing about.

Thankyou !

From the Desk of the Race Director, on this 6th January 2007

About the 6 January Test

There will be 40 minutes of qualifications for each course set. This is so that each combo may have session results that I will compile. We will start with Fern Bay Rallyx. We will skip the AX round, and possibly the Kyoto National ala Rockingham this session.

This afternoon's test session will have the following rules enforced:

Pitlane Blend Line: Failure to adhere is a drive thru.
Incidents will not be completely investigated, but if I see it live, I will assess a penalty if necessary. If you wish an incident to be investigated, be sure to save a replay of it, and after session's conclusion, I will open an Incident Evaluation thread. Follow the instructions there to get an inquiry.

In the event you roll your car or otherwise get stuck on course and are unable to move, I will stop the session, and display a "SESSION STOPPED" Race Control Message. At this point you are to slow down and proceed to pitlane. Upon entering pitlane, you may enter a garage stall and then shift+p. If you are NOT in a garage, there is to be NO telepitting without the permission of Race Control. The timer will NOT stop due to a Red Flag.

If you are stopped on course, you may request a push. The Safety Car will come around and push you to safety or pits. If pushing is impossible, you will be permitted to telepit.

Set up correctly.

Enjoy. May see you there later.

I need to do some revision beforehand...

You won't see me. I'm helping @ the local panto and so I won't be on the server until 7-7.30 @ the earliest, if at all.

Don't think I can't read white text, because I can
WARNING:

I may be a little late getting there (if at all) because I'm having internet problems here in my dorm room. Unsure if it's my computer or IT property.

I'm lucky I have this wireless MacBook to get on the wired 'nets !
I am now in the server. I will have the config set to Fern Bay Rallyx here in a few minutes.

My apologies for the delay.

It's no problem. I did not make this one mandatory. I may make one in the next week or two mandatory for all, but it won't be until our race time area.

Look for a poll topic about this soon.

I must say Fern Bay Rallyx was one of those bizarre practices/races I've ever been in... in my short LFS career.

We had Stan, a.k.a Tow Truck wrecking people so I could win... random cars flipped over waiting for the safety car who then goes afk... good times
Heh the AS7/TBO was ok. I found it good and I did good enough however the chicane in the KY / FBM was a bit too tight and theres tire stacks that shouldnt be there O_O

Fun tho!
Not coming: Trackmania.

Goddamn that thing is addicting!

I wouldn't excactly call it addicting... more like.. a good way to spend time..

Hey. I did not wreck anyone did I?
Nope u did good i think it was u at least heh.

Was it you that braked when i was going back on the track after SOMEONE (cough cough i wont name but the black FXO) knocked me out of the track Either ways I think you did good

For the Rolling Start it didnt go too well however I think we should tell people to keep a constant speed of around 80 kmh from example that way ppl actually follow it eachother and have a 5m distance or something between cars. People were bumping eachother and such before the green flag and costed Taylor to spin before the actual start.
