GTR Class Rally cars
Like the title says. If we have GTR cars that can go on the road, but not off-road than why cant we have fast paced rallycross. We could have like the cars in WRC.
However, being a demo driver, your experience of GTRs would be minimal at the most and more than likely purely theoretical anyway, right?

Thanks Inouva, many many people have indeed asked for decent rally cars before, oddly enough (me included).
Thats because we need some cars that just are for rallycross. Sure, the Rb4 is fine, but it would be nice with some more. I really hate that the rallypack got canceled, it could bring up some new and fantasic with LFS. Hope they make a comback with it, and release it someday
Well HankStar. If you truly think about it...GTRs are low to the ground cars whereas even if oyu raise the height, it wouldn't make a difference because Gtrs have a lot of speed and thus having the wheels spin faster. Therefore the cars would have trouble maintaining that speed on another surface. GTRs are made for tarmac with the type of tires they use would just make 'em slip all over. I'm sorta a car geek so for me, this is sorta common sense. Do GTR cars have Hybrid tires? Lol. Maybe a dumb question to ask.

GTRs don't have hybrid tyres. I think the fastest car you can drive on a rallycross track is the RB4 or FXO.
Evodorifto: I'm aware GTRs are purpose-built for tarmac racing and I'm also aware that low, slick-shod cars wouldn't be the best choice for dirt.

What I was questioning was your experience, specifically, of LFS GTR cars, not GTRs in general. Obviously only licensed LFS drivers have access to them, but perhaps you were just musing theoretically. I'm also unsure how my post displayed (in your eyes) a lack of understanding of what GTRs are, making you want to educate me

I was originally drawn to this thread by the term "GTR Class Rally Cars" to begin with. It's very confused terminology, especially for a car freak, as no such class exists
I'm sorry for misunderstanding your post. And in my post what I was trying to prove was that my idea of LFS GTR cars is theoretical and based on facts I have known about GTR cars which is not much. (Knowledge Gained from the cars/tracks section of the LFS website)What I do mean by GTR class rally cars is LFS GTR cars specifically designed for rally such as WRC(World Rally Championship) cars. Do you understand my point?
sigh

Yes. Rally cars = good
