There is a significant difference in acceleration between my FBM and the Ai's from stationary or slow corner etc at BL.

Even if I jump a start, the Ai's mow me down by 3rd gear. I can catch them under brakes in turn 1 at BL and go quicker through the chicane, but as they enter the straight they just take off, leaving me way behind. I can only get 1:18's/ 19's which really sucks. The AI's put at least 200m into me before turn 1.

I've checked all the hardware pedals (newish G25) for travel with no problems. I've even tried out the DX Tweek 2 with no postive results. I've tried Newbie through to Pro with no change. I've used top setups from the site.
Is it normal to have such a difference in acceleration?

Well that one slipped through! I was racing F1 AI's!! I hadn't noticed it had been changed by another user and it was the first time I'd raced the FBM. Oops. I'm still struggling to get out of the 1:18's though.

To save a replay you can either press 1 or you can go to the menu (press Escape at the end of the race) and click on Replay. This will save the replay with the your name, the name of the track, the name of the car and the position in the race you came in. Then you just need to go to <Your LFS Folder>/data/spr, and your replay file should be there. To upload it, create a reply and click on the "Manage Attachments" button below. Find your replay file, select it and click on the "Upload" button. Then your replay will be attached under your post. I've attached a quick 4 lap replay of me driving FBM against AI at Blackwood (don't re-enter the track as I did in lap 4 and my 'move' at the end of the lap wasn't something I'd try online... ) and the setup I used to drive it. To view my replay, click on the link and save the file. Then move it into the same folder you got your saved replay from. Now when you go into LFS it should appear on the list of replays. You'll get a message saying some of the skins in the replay aren't found on your PC, if you say yes it'll download my skin. If you say no my car will just be all white (I think). To save the setup, click on it and save the file. Then move it into the <Your LFS Folder>/data/setups folder. It will appear in your garage as "amp88 BL1".

You can also save replays online by pressing 2 or click on the Replay button from the menu after the race.

The weather here's pretty terrible at the moment, massive rivers of water across the road on the way home and gale force winds. Pretty much par for the course in bonnie Scotland
