press shift + u, then activate place objects, then choose wich object you want to place on the upper right corner and then press o to place them!

You also have to be in Single Player Mode. Otherwise, you'll get the view controls on the left side of your screen, but not the object placement tools on the right.

Also, I recommend LytE (layout editor), a very fine program that facilitates making layouts for LFS (although not for all tracks). Search the forum for it.

well yah, but seeing as how he just signed up and doesn't know how to make layouts, I don't think he would be the server admin..at least not for a while.
