ffb setup and steering angle
Hi ive just got a wheel a logitec wingman formula force gp, my steering turn dos'nt much the turn of the wheel in the car i have wheel turn at 180, and im not sure if i have the force feed back settings right, i can mannage a 1.47 on as nationall in the fzr and thats hard work, is there any think i could do to improve the steering.
The wheel in the graphics won't match your actual controller wheel. The wheel graphics turn as it would in a real car and most controllers only turn 180 to 270 degrees (don't know what the Wingman is). If you had a DFP, then you could have them match as the DFP does 900 degrees (2.5 turns lock to lock). I turn the driver arms and wheel graphics off (options->View) as I find it VERY distracting.

With the distance my monitor is from my wheel/my eyes and the 60% FOV I use, it looks just like it would driving in real life if you would cut a 17 inch square in a chunk of cardboard and put it behind your wheel of your car. No need to see 2 wheels and 4 arms.
I didnt understand much of what the original poster typed but in an effort to help ill offer some advice: Make sure youve downloaded the correct programs or drivers or whatever they are called for your wheel from logitech's website. Using that program (that you got from logitech's site) you can adjust how many degrees of steering the wheel uses to take the car from full lock to full lock (up to the limit of the wheel itself). Also, once you are in live for speed, make sure you set the number of steering degrees you are using to the same number you set the wheel to using the logitech wheel program/manager.

Also, if no matter what you do you find the steering too twitchy. There is an option in live for speed options called wheel turn compensation, (i believe) by turning this up you will get smoother (slower) analogue sensitivity motion towards the center area of your steering which can help keep steering from being too twitchy in the area you need it most.
Hope that helps.
